Solar Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted)
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
• Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and system calculations
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Optimize system efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in solar/renewable energy projects
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and design tools (AutoCAD, PVsyst, etc.)
• Familiarity with electrical systems and grid integration
• Knowledge of Qatar standards and regulations is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
