Role Overview

As a Solar Engineer at GoSolr, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end solar projects from technical design through to installation and client handover. You'll oversee residential and commercial projects, coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and authorities, and also play a direct role in business development and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Oversee solar PV installations (residential + commercial) ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Liaise with contractors, site teams, and logistics partners.

Design & Technical Support:

• Assist in system design, inverter sizing, string layouts, and shading analysis.
• Support procurement and logistics of solar components.

Permits & Approvals:

• Handle authority approvals, submissions, and NOCs through DEWA, DM, DDA, DLD, Emaar, Nakheel, and other entities.
• Ensure compliance with local standards and regulations.

Client-Facing & Business Development:

• Meet clients, explain technical proposals, and build long-term relationships.
• Support business development initiatives and provide technical expertise in proposals and pitches.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or related field).

3+ years experience in solar PV projects (residential + commercial). Minimum 1 year in Dubai.

Strong understanding of DEWA/Shams Dubai requirements, and UAE authority approval processes.

Proven ability to manage projects, contractors, and timelines.

Excellent English communication skills (verbal + written).

Valid UAE Driving License.

Client-facing, confident, and professional.
