Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Solar Engineer based in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Solar Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing solar power systems, including photovoltaic (PV) systems, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Daily tasks include conducting site assessments, creating electrical and solar system designs, and providing technical support to installation teams. Collaboration with other engineers, clients, and stakeholders to deliver and improve sustainable energy solutions will also be a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in the solar industry, including Solar Power and Solar Systems
• Experience in PV Design and proficiency in tools/software related to solar energy projects
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Design for renewable energy applications
• Ability to analyze and optimize solar power system performance
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
• Familiarity with local regulations and guidelines for renewable energy projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Previous experience in energy efficiency or large-scale solar installations is a plus
