Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a solar sales engineer. This role requires communicating technical and financial information to clients, managing client relationships, and supporting sales teams with presentations and contracts. The position acts as a key link between clients and the company's solar solutions
Qualifications
- Sales and lead generation: Prospect and qualify potential leads through calls, networking, and marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Develop sales strategies and work to achieve revenue targets.
- Technical analysis and design: Conduct site visits to evaluate suitability for solar projects.
- Analyze customer's electricity consumption and site conditions to design custom solar systems.
- Evaluate solar module, inverter, and racking technologies.
- Proposal and contract management: Prepare technical proposals, quotes, and contracts for customers.
- Explain the technical and financial aspects of the solar solutions, including pricing, funding, incentives, and warranties.
- Facilitate the transfer of leads to closed contracts.
- Client and internal communication: Present system and financing options to customers.
- Communicate with internal teams, such as finance, operations, and marketing.
- Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential skills and qualifications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical and financial information.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- A degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related) is often required.
- Good command of Arabic and English languages
- At least 2 years of experience in similar position
- Driver's license
