Role Description The Solar Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait, responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing solar energy solutions that support the company's operations. Day-to-day tasks include assessing site conditions, designing and configuring solar systems, coordinating installation and commissioning activities, and monitoring system performance to ensure reliable power generation. The role involves working with internal teams and external vendors, preparing technical reports, and recommending improvements based on data analysis and industry best practices. The Solar Specialist will also stay current with developments in the solar industry and support feasibility evaluations of complementary technologies such as wind energy, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Solar Power, Solar Systems, and the broader Solar Industry.
Candidates should possess understanding of Wind Energy and its relationship to overall Power Generation strategies.
Candidates should possess experience in designing, installing, or maintaining renewable energy systems, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
Candidates should possess skills in technical analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting for energy systems.
Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant safety standards, local regulations in Kuwait, and basic electrical engineering principles.
Relevant engineering or technical degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy) or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
Ability to work on-site, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
