Role Purpose
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and governing
end‑to‑end IT solutions for the Swiss Booking Center, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant architectures. The role focuses on defining clear
system boundaries between UAE and Swiss IT landscapes, supporting vendor selection, and ensuring regulatory, security, and non‑functional requirements are met by design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end‑to‑end solution architectures covering core banking, digital, integration, data, and security domains.
- Define and govern system boundaries, data flows, and integrations between UAE and Swiss IT environments.
- Ensure data segregation, access control, and regulatory compliance are embedded into solution designs.
- Define and validate non‑functional requirements including resilience, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery.
- Evaluate vendor reference architectures and provide architecture inputs during RFP and solution selection.
- Design and govern architectures based on Avaloq, Finnova, Temenos, and TCS‑based platforms.
- Support wealth management technology stacks, API‑driven, and modular architectures.
- Define and assess cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid deployment models.
- Produce architecture design documents, diagrams, and provide input to architecture governance forums.
Key Skills & Experience
- 8–12+ years of IT experience with strong exposure to solution architecture.
- Proven experience in banking or wealth management technology.
- Strong understanding of:
- Core banking and wealth platforms
- API‑led and integration architectures
- Data architecture and information security principles
- Cloud and hybrid environments
- Experience working with multi‑vendor and cross‑border IT landscapes.
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Cloud Architect) preferred.
