ROLE SUMMARY

The Solution Architect role holds the responsibility of designing and architecting applications that operate on platforms, while adhering to approved designs, security standards, and platform guardrails. Their primary focus is to ensure that solutions meet specifications, deliver optimized performance, and align with agreed run costs. Solution Architects play a crucial role in creating robust and efficient software solutions that drive business success.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The HR Solution Architect is accountable for the end-to-end technical integrity, governance, and evolution of global HR technology platforms. This role serves as a strategic and technical authority, ensuring that all HR solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. The role drives continuous improvement, oversees global solution design, and ensures seamless integration across systems such as SuccessFactors, Enable, Fieldglass, Concur, and PeopleDoc. Working closely with suppliers, internal teams, and subject-matter experts, the architect safeguards platform stability while enabling innovation and long-term strategic value. The incumbent provides expert technical advisory to projects and enterprise architecture functions, ensuring intellectual property, configurations, and solution knowledge are preserved beyond major transformation cycles. • Deliver measurable business value through technology innovation. • Define and influence the strategic roadmap for HR Technology. • Ensure full IDT policy, security, and compliance adherence. • Align solutions with the Global Enterprise Vision and architecture standards. • Approve and validate change initiatives to ensure robustness, compliance, and business alignment. • Drive quality assurance, release governance, and risk/compliance management. • Provide expert configuration and solution design across multiple SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Compensation, Variable Pay, PMGM, LMS, Time Off, Benefits). • Oversee day-to-day platform operations, service delivery, and vendor performance against agreed SLAs. • Lead and govern Reward cycles (e.g., ASR, Variable Pay), ensuring accuracy, audit compliance, and operational readiness. • Architect end-to-end solutions that leverage appropriate platforms, frameworks, and technologies, ensuring they align with approved designs and security standards. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and project managers, to define and refine solution requirements. • Guide HRBPs, Reward CoEs, and leadership teams through technical and functional processes. • Manages risk assessments for operational incidents, change requests, and audit findings; executes risk mitigation and compliance activities. • Translates business requirements into technical specifications and collaborates with internal stakeholders and vendors for effective solution delivery. • Manages escalations, supports incident management organizations, and conducts regular service review meetings. • Ensure smooth service transitions, release management, and operational readiness for new or updated capabilities • Govern access control, ensuring SoX alignment and secure role architecture. • Uphold global GDPR and data-privacy standards across all HR systems. • Lead budget oversight, resource planning, and capacity management.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE Job Description

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

• Strong knowledge of data protection principles, information governance, and compliance frameworks. • Proven ability to build strong relationships across global matrix environments. • Minimum 10 years experience with SuccessFactors, including implementations and production support. • Full lifecycle delivery experience from design to production. • Experience in large, global organisations using hybrid sourcing models. • Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., SOX, GDPR) with high data-protection standards. • Demonstrated self-driven learning and adaptability. • Experience collaborating across multinational teams and cultures. • Proven technical knowledge/ experience of manage concepts, with focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID (and related cloud/identity platforms).

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

• Strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on long-term value. • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and organisational navigation skills. • Effective communication and presentation skills. • Ability to operate in fast-paced, complex environments with resilience and agility. • Expertise in solution design, fit-gap analysis, testing cycles (FUT, SIT, UAT, RT), and data conversion. • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and conflict-resolution skills. • Project management and financial management capabilities. • Excellent command of English.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

• Degree/MBA qualification • SAP SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, SAP ECC HR Module certification & training courses & etc • DevSecOps, Agile and ITIL training certification would be beneficial • Knowledge in DevOps, Agile and SaFE processes and how it can be applied in a global enterprise organization. • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. Certification in ITIL professional examinations is beneficial • Knowledge in change management processes and implementation cycle/stages • Good understanding of SOX and how it applies within IT
