Job Description

Department: Digital Enterprise Platform, Digital & Technology Platform Services

Location: Egypt, Bulgaria or Greece

As a Solution Architect IIoT Manufacturing, you play a pivotal role in designing and implementing solutions that drive business value across the manufacturing ecosystem of Coca-Cola HBC. You will be owning technical aspects of our manufacturing platform landscape across plants and production lines. You will translate business needs into cohesive end-to-end solution designs, ensure the platform is secure and scalable, and guide delivery teams and partners from concept to production operations. You will work closely with Product Managers, engineering teams, OT/IT stakeholders, and vendors to continuously evolve the platform while keeping architectural integrity, data quality, and operational excellence at the core.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own end-to-end solution design for the manufacturing platform, covering edge-to-cloud data flows, processing, persistence, and consumption (e.g., operational dashboards, reporting, analytics, and enterprise integrations)

Partner with product and business stakeholders to capture requirements, define solution options, and make trade-offs across functionality, cost, security, reliability, and time-to-value

Create and maintain solution architecture artefacts (diagrams, decision records, interface contracts, data models, NFRs) and ensure documentation is kept current in the agreed repository (e.g., Azure DevOps Wiki or similar)

Define and govern non-functional requirements: security, performance, availability, resilience, observability, data retention, and complianceensuring they are measurable and testable

Lead the architectural approach for manufacturing data contextualization, including production order context, downtime/event validation, and consistent reporting semantics across shifts/lines/plants

Drive integration design with enterprise and plant systems (e.g., ERP, quality systems, maintenance workflows), selecting appropriate patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch) without locking into a single technology by default

Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams through the delivery lifecycle: refinement, design reviews, implementation guidance, test strategy, release planning, and operational readiness

Establish and evolve platform standards: reference architectures, reusable patterns, data contracts, naming/structuring conventions, and guardrails for teams and vendors

Collaborate with cybersecurity and enterprise architecture to ensure solutions align with corporate principles, and that identity, access control, encryption, and auditability are embedded by design

Support production operations when needed (incident support, root-cause analysis, problem management), and proactively reduce operational burden through better design, monitoring, and automation

Contribute to vendor assessments (RFI/RFP), technical due diligence, and roadmap planningensuring the platform remains future-proof, maintainable, and business-aligned

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

8+ years in solution architecture / senior engineering roles, with proven delivery of complex digital platforms in a large enterprise environment

Strong understanding of manufacturing/industrial domains (production lines, downtime, shift execution, performance KPIs) and how digital solutions support operations

Solid architecture skills across modern patterns: event-driven design, APIs & integration, data platforms (time-series and analytical), distributed systems, and reliability engineering

Experience defining and enforcing non-functional requirements, including security, performance, scalability, and observability

Familiarity with DevSecOps ways of working (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code concepts, automated testing, release governance)

Strong stakeholder management: able to align OT, IT, product, and vendors; excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills

Comfortable working in Agile/Scaled Agile environments; able to balance architectural excellence with pragmatic delivery
