Role Purpose
The Lead Solution Architect - Cyber owns the cyber security architecture for the airport program, embedding security-by-design across applications, integration, data, network, infrastructure and OT in a safety- and security-critical environment.
The role leads security design, standards and assurance, ensuring the solution is resilient to threats, compliant with regulation, and protective of passengers, operations and data.
Key Responsibilities
Security Architecture
- Own the cyber security architecture and security-by-design across all domains.
- Define security standards, controls, identity and access, encryption and segmentation.
- Design threat detection, monitoring and incident-response capabilities.
Risk & Compliance
- Lead threat modelling, security risk assessment and mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with regulation and aviation security requirements.
- Assure security across integration, network, OT and third-party connectivity.
Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and mentor security architects/analysts; govern security design quality.
- Support estimation, planning and risk for the cyber domain.
- Advise leadership, the client and partners on security posture.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Security architecture: Extensive experience in cyber security architecture on large, complex programs.
- Breadth: Strong across identity/access, network security, data protection, cloud and OT security.
- Risk & compliance: Experience with threat modelling, risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
- Security-by-design: Embedding security across multi-domain solutions in critical environments.
- Leadership & communication: Ability to lead a team and advise at senior level.
Desirable
- Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, SABSA, cloud security).
- Knowledge of aviation security requirements and OT/ICS security.
- Experience in critical-infrastructure or 24/7 regulated environments.
- Exposure to MSI operating models.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Security certifications strongly preferred (CISSP, CISM, SABSA or equivalent).
