About Our Client
Our client is a disruptive Financial Services start-up based in Riyadh.
Job Description
The Solution Architect will be responsible for:
- Analysing existing technology capability and requirements; translating requirements into technical solution
- Designing the technical architecture of the solution, including the hardware, software, and networking components
- Collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the solution meets the needs of the business
- Ensuring that the technology solution is agile, scalable, reliable and secure
- Providing ongoing support and maintenance for the solution
- Working closely with the leadership team to address the business needs/changes and aligning technology with overall business strategy
- Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for technology adoption and innovation
- Ensuring solution is compliant with regulatory requirements
- Overseeing integration of solution with other systems and softwares
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and integrations
- Provide training and support to development teams on architectural best practices
The Successful Applicant
The Solution Architect will be/have:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study (Master's is preferred)
- 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in the Financial Services sector
- Previously built Fintech solutions from scratch
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions
- Proficient in cloud technologies
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.
- Based in/willing to relocate to Riyadh
