Role Description
Position Title: Senior Consultant IT Risk Advisory

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with a strong background in IT Risk Advisory to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Business Continuity Management (BCM), Compliance Assessments, Policy and Procedure Development & Review, and Internal ITGC Audits, along with sound knowledge of regional and international regulatory frameworks. This role requires a client-facing professional who can provide advisory, perform assessments, and support organizations in strengthening their IT governance, risk, and compliance posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver consulting engagements in IT Risk Advisory, covering BCM, ITGC audits, compliance assessments, and policy development.
- Conduct reviews and gap assessments against local and international regulations, including but not limited to NESA, CBUAE, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, UAE PDPL, Oman CSRF and other regional frameworks.
- Design, review, and enhance policies, procedures, and control frameworks to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Perform IT General Controls (ITGC) reviews and internal audits, identifying risks and recommending actionable remediation measures.
- Drive Business Continuity Management (BCM) engagements including BIA, risk assessment, plan development, testing, and maturity assessments.
- Develop client deliverables including assessment reports, recommendations, roadmaps, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Support in proposal development, scoping, and business development activities for IT Risk Advisory services.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants in performing assessments and producing high-quality deliverables.
- Should be comfortable with traveling frequently within GCC for multiple projects.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IT Risk Management, BCM, ITGC, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with regional regulatory requirements (UAE, Oman, GCC) and international standards (ISO 27001, ISO 22301, etc.).
- Proven ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and translate them into actionable compliance measures.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, ISO 27001 LA/LI, ISO 22301 LA/LI, CRISC, CBCI, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in consulting, IT audit, or risk advisory.
