Sound Systems Engineer

As a Junior Sound Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of sound systems for both live events and fixed installations. You will work under the supervision of senior engineers, learning and growing within the field of audio engineering. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fresh graduate to gain hands-on experience and further their career in the audio industry.

Job Accountabilities:

• Assist in the setup, calibration, and maintenance of audio equipment for live events, installations, and on-site demonstrations.

• Help design and test sound systems, including mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and amplifiers.

• Support senior engineers with the troubleshooting and repair of audio equipment.

• Work with clients and team members to ensure the successful delivery and performance of sound systems.

• Maintain and organize audio equipment, tools, and inventory.

• Perform routine checks on sound systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the audio industry.

• Provide on-site technical support during events and installations as needed.

Education:

Bachelor degree of Engineering; Communication is a must from a reputable university.

Required Experience:

• Basic understanding of sound systems, including knowledge of speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and mixing consoles.

• Familiarity with audio software and digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.

• Strong interest in the audio industry, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for live events.

• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
