Job Requirements Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and oversee authentic Levantine dishes, including hot and cold mezze, grills, and traditional specialties
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Supervise kitchen team and provide training when required
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Assist with menu planning, costing, and inventory control
- Minimize food waste and ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Work Experience - Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie specializing in Levantine cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Levantine ingredients, spices, and cooking methods
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Syrian nationality preferred
