We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spa Head Therapist to join our luxury hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the treatment areas, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, professionalism, hygiene, and therapist performance.
This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, excellent guest engagement skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing spa team within a luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the daily operations of the spa treatment areas
- Deliver spa treatments to the highest luxury hospitality standards
- Train, coach, and continuously develop therapists in treatments, product knowledge, and customer service
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the spa
- Monitor treatment and retail sales performance and support the achievement of departmental targets
- Coordinate therapist schedules and rosters according to operational requirements
- Manage stock inventory and retail products in line with company procedures
- Liaise with suppliers regarding products, training, promotions, and retail displays
- Assist in recruitment, trade testing, and onboarding of therapists
- Conduct regular therapist performance evaluations and coaching sessions
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with Front Office and Concierge teams to enhance guest experience and increase spa capture rate
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Senior Therapist or Head Therapist within a luxury hotel or resort spa
- Internationally recognized spa or beauty qualification
- CIDESCO, ITEC, or CIBTAC certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Previous experience in therapist training and team leadership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Guest-focused with a positive and professional attitude
- Good computer skills
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexible to work operational hours as required
