We're Hiring: Spa Manager

Aswan, Egypt | On-site | Full-time | Reports to the Spa & Wellness Director

Our guests come to Zen for the water, the desert light, and a spa floor that runs like it means it. We're looking for a Spa Manager to own that floor day to day — the person who makes sure every treatment starts on time, every therapist is set up to do their best work, and every guest leaves calmer than they arrived.

The Zen Wellness Resort is part of MGM Health & Wellness Egypt, a cross-entity group spanning the Resort, MGM Wellness Clinic, Lifestyle Spa, Health Hub, Juzoor Restaurant, and MGM Retreats. The Spa Manager runs the day-to-day floor: scheduling and supervising therapists and front-desk staff, holding treatment quality and hygiene standards to the line, and turning guest requests and the odd complaint into a calm, well-handled moment. You'll report to the Spa & Wellness Director, who owns strategy and P&L for the division — this role owns execution. A year in, we'd expect a spa floor that runs smoothly without you having to be on it every minute, a team that's been coached rather than just rostered, and retail/upsell numbers that have moved in the right direction.

•   Own daily spa floor operations — scheduling, therapist and front-desk supervision, and treatment-room readiness.

•   Hold service delivery to the Resort's guest experience standards, and personally step in on escalated guest requests or complaints.

•   Coach and develop the spa team's technical and service skills, and give the Spa & Wellness Director honest performance input.

•   Manage retail and treatment upsell at the point of guest contact, and track performance against monthly targets.

•   Maintain hygiene, safety, and equipment standards in line with Egyptian regulatory requirements and Resort policy.

•   Coordinate stock, product, and vendor needs with the Spa & Wellness Director and Procurement.

•   Keep accurate daily/weekly operational records and flag issues before they become guest-facing problems.

Required:

•   8+ years in a spa supervisory or management role within a hotel, resort, or established spa brand.

•   Hands-on leadership style — comfortable running the floor, not just the schedule.

•   Working knowledge of core spa treatments, protocols, and hygiene/safety standards.

•   Strong guest service instincts, with the composure to handle a complaint calmly and well.

•   Fluent Arabic and working professional English.

•   Able to work on-site in Aswan on a resort operating schedule, including weekends and peak periods.

Preferred (nice to have):

•   Diploma or certification in spa, hospitality, or wellness management.

•   Experience with spa management/booking software and point-of-sale systems.

•   Prior experience in a multi-therapist team within a 4–5 star resort or medical/wellness spa environment.
