Special Initiatives Manager – Qatar
CLIENT
Linum Consult's client operates out of the Middle East. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Special Initiatives Manager to lead and deliver high-priority strategic initiatives that support the company's transformation agenda and long-term objectives. This is a client-side position and will be based in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the planning, execution, and monitoring of special strategic initiatives aligned with the company's vision and strategic objectives
- Managing enterprise-wide transformation programmes, organisational change initiatives, innovation projects, ESG-related initiatives, and other strategic priorities
- Providing analytical insights, assessments, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Conducting research, benchmarking, scenario analyses, and strategic evaluations on emerging trends, organisational performance, and transformation priorities
- Managing external consultants, advisors, and subject matter experts involved in the organisation's transformation and strategic workstreams
- Developing and executing stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption strategies to support successful implementation
- Developing high-quality executive presentations, briefing materials, board papers, and strategic reports for senior leadership
PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Engineering, Public Administration or similar, ideally with a master's degree or MBA
- 8-12 years experience in corporate strategy, transformation management, management consulting, programme management, or organisational development
- History of working with executive leadership teams and managing cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Previous experience working for a business consultancy firm
- Experience in the public sector, transportation, infrastructure, government entities, or large corporations is highly advantageous
- Demonstrable history of managing consulting engagements and transformation programmes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills in English
- Candidates currently based in Doha will be given priority, and candidates currently based in the wider GCC region will be given second priority
