To manage and coordinate the successful delivery of Special Projects across multiple fabrication and installation sites by supervising internal engineering teams (Fabrication, Installation, Electrical/MEP), external contractors, suppliers, and site stakeholders. The role ensures all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with UAE regulatory standards (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, RTA, etc.), while meeting project timelines, budget constraints, and quality expectations.
- Lead day-to-day delivery of multiple fabrication and installation projects under Special Projects.
- Supervise and align the activities of Special Projects engineers and other internal staff.
- Manage external suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure contractual and performance compliance.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and escalate risks to the Head of Special Projects.
- Ensure all Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Lifting Plans, and MEP/HVAC work plans are prepared and approved before execution.
- Monitor site progress, verify milestone completion, and ensure work sequencing between trades is coordinated.
- Ensure all projects maintain proper documentation, including permits, approvals, test certificates, and handover files.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process automation.
- Prepare progress reports, risk registers, and site status dashboards for the Head of Special Projects.
- Ensure transparent communication between management, engineering staff, and external partners.
Education/ Qualification
- Bachelor of Business Administration, Engineering, or similar.
- Certificate in Project Management Profession (PMP)
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience as a project manager in construction-related projects/companies.
- Minimum 3 years direct experience in dealing with UAE contractors
- Leading team deliverables for engineering documentation collection, review, and submissions for tenders and approvals.
- Consultation with client/stakeholders, project management, supplier supervisor, and workers.
- Use of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Project
- Proven experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors across multiple work sites.
- Knowledge of local legislation regarding site operation requirements, plus any other relevant laws and regulations.
- Ability to provide practical project management advice and support.
- Strong commitment to quality management outputs.
