Job Description
The Specialist Revenue position is a critical role within our Accounting department, responsible for the technical and operational management of revenue accounting processes. You will ensure compliance with IFRS standards, track and record revenue transactions, and manage day-to-day operations. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate and compliant revenue reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and methodologies.
- End-to-end tracking and recording of revenue transactions from various systems and channels.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue data and reporting, in line with IFRS requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders to manage day-to-day revenue operations and maintain strong relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue accounting processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage and participate in critical assignments, providing technical expertise and leadership.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in revenue accounting, suggesting process improvements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members, ensuring a high level of competency within the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth revenue-related operations and data flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue accounting, with a strong understanding of IFRS standards and their application.
