To strengthen our culinary capabilities, we are looking for a
Culinary Food Designer (Food Technologist) to support
Processed Meat, Sauces, Dry Soup and Bouillon applications. This role will contribute to delivering
total flavor and ingredient solutions by working closely with customers and cross‑functional teams.
This position is
based in Cairo, Egypt and reports to the
Team Leader Culinary & Snacks.

Where You'll Make a Difference
- Independently lead customer development projects by selecting and recommending flavors, seasonings, premixes, and ingredient solutions aligned with customer profiles, cost targets, legal requirements, and stability needs.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Flavorists, Product Experience, GRA, QC, Production, and other teams to support successful project execution.
- Translate innovation, consumer insights, market trends, and project briefs into preferred culinary solutions for customers and their brands.
- Build strong relationships with customers and support culinary categories.
- Support laboratory to production scale‑up and troubleshoot formulation and process challenges.
- Participate in new concept development and innovation initiatives at local and regional levels.
- Share technical knowledge and best practices within the team and across the organization.
What Makes You The Right Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development within the Processed Meat category (e.g. sausage, nuggets, meatballs, patties, sauces).
- Strong knowledge of processed meat raw materials, formulation, manufacturing processes, and regulations.
- Experience with industrial scale‑up from lab to production.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
