About the Role:
KSIADC is seeking Design Quality Assurance Specialists within any of the following fields: MEP, Structure, Architectural Detailing, Roads, Utilities, or SAS. The Specialist will act as a key guardian of design excellence—ensuring that all project designs comply with regulatory standards and codes; align with organizational goals and expectations; and meet the KSIADC standards of quality. Best suited for detail-oriented professionals with an engineering background and a strong eagerness to learn and grow in the aviation field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with external specialists to review and audit design submissions for a variety of projects, ranging from small site offices and sheds to large terminals and infrastructure works, ensuring:
- Compliance with the correct design codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Completion of the drawings, reports, certifications and calculations
- Quality expectations are met in keeping with KSIADC standards
- Integration on BIM and within the masterplan constraints
- Promote consistency, transparency and objectivity across all design evaluations and decisions
- Liaise with external consultants and reviewers to uphold technical integrity and alignment
- Promote cross-functional and cross-departmental coordination to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Maintain clear documentation and transparent communication throughout the review process
- Uphold a professional, fair, and accountable approach that reflects strong ethical and behavioral standards
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or architectural field
- Has experience 3 years in similar role or equivalent.
