Specialist Financial Review

Madison Pearl is partnering with an esteemed government entity based in Abu Dhabi who are looking to hire an Emirati financial review specialist. The purpose of this role is to lead detailed reviews of government spending and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, optimise costs and generate savings, by combining financial and operational analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned reviews from data collection through analysis, recommendations, and final deliverables, while coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Review budgets, actual spending, cost drivers, and operational performance to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Build financial models, conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis, and assess different options to quantify potential savings and financial impact.
• Compare performance and costs across entities, sectors, or peers, then translate findings into clear, evidence-based recommendations for senior management.
• Coordinate data requests, timelines and analytical workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and review analysts work to ensure high-quality outputs.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualifications such as CMA, ACCA, or CPA are desirable.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Hands on experience with developing financial models.
