Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Review, study, and supervise the workforce planning activities. Develop Workforce Plan templates for the companywide business units to ensure that all Functions have adequate human resources to fulfil their short, medium and long term objectives. Develop the companyu2019s Nationalization intake plan in coordination with the concerned business units. Work in collaboration with the Talent Development Department to ensure that the integration plans of all Entry point Employees are included in the workforce business plan.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Workforce Planning
u00B7 Monitor the Companyu2019s annual and long term workforce planning needs to ensure the development of realistic Workforce Plans.
u00B7 Supervise the development of the annual National intake and 10 years plans and ensure their alignment with the Companyu2019s Emiratization targets.
u00B7 Ensure timely provision of accurate Workforce information that supports the Corporate Planning and decision making process.
u00B7 Ensure accurate information and statistics on vacant/critical positions in order to facilitate the development of the Annual Recruitment / Critical Emiratization Plan.
u00B7 Study the corporate headcount forecasts and ensure their alignment with the intended target. Provide recommendations in respect of costsu2019 minimization and other areas of interest.
u00B7 Validate the requisitions raised for the recruitment and employee status change to ensure the process alignment with the recruitment plan and availability of vacancies.
u00B7 Liaise with the Talent Development team to ensure that the integration plans of Entry Point Employees are in place.
u00B7 Monitor the effectiveness of the implemented automation features related to workforce planning dashboards and systems.
u00B7 Review and study the annual workforce 10 years Business Plan, and present analytical data into useful information to enable decision makers take action.
u00B7 Support Business units with workforce data to enable them appropriately prepare their inputs for the workforce business plan.
u00B7 Ensure that the workforce planning processes are efficient and in line with the Organisation structure and support the achievement of the companyu2019s strategic objectives.
u00B7 Support external Consultants with the provision of organization information to facilitate the professional conduct of organisation and workforce studies in line with the companyu2019s standards.
Workforce Budget
u00B7 Develop the Company annual workforce budget input and supervise its compilation to support the Workforce Planning process.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
u00B7 Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or an equivalent Professional Qualification..
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
u00B7 9 years of experience in Workforce Planning/Human Resource Management, preferably in the Oil/Gas industry, including 4 years in supervisory roles.
u00B7 Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
u00B7 Extensive experience in workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and financial budgets.
u00B7 Experience in analyzing, organizing and directing positive organizational change.
u00B7 Knowledge in commercial / cost control.
u00B7 Experience in leveraging HR Systems/technology to create workforce analytics and metrics.
u00B7 Experience in developing and utilizing predictive analytics and statistical modelling.
u00B7 Root cause analysis skills.
u00B7 Experience in writing clear and analytic reports on workforce and positions.
u00B7 Understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations..
