Job Description


In this role, you will coordinate HR regulatory governance, policy oversight, risk and control assessments, and compliance monitoring to support adherence to applicable regulatory standards across the Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Regulatory Governance & Change: Monitor CBUAE, MOHRE, and UAE employment laws; assess impact on HR policies/systems and coordinate compliance implementation.
  2. Operational Risk & Control Assessment (RCSA): Conduct Risk & Control Self-Assessments for HR functions, test controls, and document residual risks.
  3. Compliance Monitoring & Issue Remediation: Perform periodic HR compliance reviews, identify control gaps, track corrective actions, and ensure timely issue closure.
  4. Audit & Regulatory Support: Act as primary HR contact for internal audits, external assurance reviews, and regulatory examinations.
  5. Business Continuity & Resilience: Support HR business continuity planning, resilience assessments, and recovery testing.
  6. Governance Records & Reporting: Maintain regulatory registers, policy inventories, and issue trackers; generate periodic governance reports for management.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: CBUAE regulations, MOHRE guidelines, and UAE labor standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), policy drafting, audit response management, and control design/testing.
  • Soft Skills & Competencies: Stakeholder management, technical writing, risk analysis, attention to detail, and professional integrity.
