Job Title: Risk & Governance Specialist

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Experience: 510+ Years

Employment Type: six months renewable Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a Risk & Governance Specialist to drive IT risk management, governance frameworks, and business continuity initiatives. The role focuses on identifying risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening organizational resilience through effective BCP/DR strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and manage IT, operational, and cyber risks; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks aligned with COBIT, NIST, and ISO standards
  • Design and manage Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, including BIA, RTO, and RPO
  • Conduct BCP/DR testing, simulations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., NCA, SDAIA) and support audits
  • Support incident response and crisis management activities
  • Oversee third-party/vendor risk assessments
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and risk metrics for leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or related field
  • 510+ years of experience in IT risk, governance, compliance, or BCP/DR
  • Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, and BCP/DR frameworks
  • Experience with GRC tools (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, RSA Archer)
  • Relevant certifications preferred: CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP, CISM, CBCP/MBCI
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and reporting skills
