Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including advanced ultrasound and diagnostic tests, to evaluate maternal and fetal health
- Diagnose and manage high-risk pregnancies, providing evidence-based interventions
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on prenatal care, risks, and management options
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and infants
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in maternal-fetal medicine
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Participate in training and education programs for medical staff and residents
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with a specialization in Maternal and Fetal Medicine
- Board certification in Maternal and Fetal Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice
- Extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and conducting fetal assessments
- Proficient in advanced ultrasound imaging and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment and work under pressure
