Responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, and daily operations of the Siemens Energy IP Meter Data Management System (MDMS). Ensure reliable and accurate meter data processing, system integration, and performance to support Smart Grid initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic
- Support MDMS-related initiatives aligned with the organization's Smart Grid and IoT strategy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system performance and data quality.
2. Functional
- Execute configuration, monitoring, and maintenance activities within the Energy IP platform.
- Ensure accurate data processing, synchronization, and integration with other utility systems.
3. Operations
- Perform daily monitoring of meter data flows and system health.
- Resolve meter read issues, validate data, and support routine MDMS operational tasks.
- Ensure high system availability and reliability in line with service standards.
4. Technical
- Hands-on experience (5+ years) with Siemens Energy IP configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, Oracle databases, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing, data synchronization, and integration.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for meter data analytics.
- Understanding of Energy IP Analytics Foundation.
5. People
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support MDMS operations.
- Follow guidance from senior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.

- Maintain strict confidentiality of information within and outside the organization.
- Adhere to QH&S Management System Manual and data hub safety standards.
7. Business Continuity
- Ensure consistent system accessibility and operational support to maintain business continuity.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in Smart Grid or MDMS (Energy IP) solutions.
Languages: English (mandatory); Arabic (preferred).
