Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Reliability Focus:

  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all critical equipment.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor equipment condition and performance trends to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Ensure lubrication management including oil selection, sampling, and contamination control.
  • Plan and carry out overhauls, shutdown maintenance, and turnaround activities.

Maintain and update maintenance plans, SOPs, and checklists.

  • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components.
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing of maintenance materials.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of tools and test equipment.

Technical & Operational Tasks:

  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct inspection and condition assessment of machinery components.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, work orders, and service reports.
  • Prepare technical reports and recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.

Qualification

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance of oil & gas equipment.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment reliability and failure modes.
  • Good understanding of maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Working Conditions

  • Field and workshop environment.
  • May require shift duties, shutdown support, and emergency response.
  • Exposure to industrial hazards, requiring strict adherence to safety procedures.
