Job Description


JOB PURPOSE

Study and identify improvements opportunities and provide subject matter expertise to ensure the coherence and optimisation of all activities related to Operations Excellence. Design and implement changes to processes that improve results and reduce cost and eliminate waste.

Deliver process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives whilst addressing all process deficiencies through re-engineering interventions and corrective action plans

Develop and implement all technical training related to Operations including the receipt, storage, handling and delivery of aviation products, use of related equipmentu2019s, safety and fire prevention, driving of fuelling vehicles and quality control.

Operational Excellence

u2022 Lead the provision of awareness sessions on the role of Operations excellence and the implemented internal controls, policies and procedures to Operations employees and partners.

u2022 Lead the Identification and setting standards of Operational excellence in order to maximise the safe and reliable performance of company Assets.

u2022 Lead the assessment of Operations performance against standards set in order to provide confidence on the status of operations.

u2022 Present business process optimization opportunities and underlying operations improvement business case to the operations group management and executives.

u2022 Continuously leverage the expertise and resources of the impacted areas to support and implement the initiatives.

u2022 Identify and communicate obstacles and challenges encountered throughout the project, and opportunities for improving or accelerating the process

Manage change through communication, documentation, and training to ensure stakeholder involvement and buy-in.

u2022 Ensure reviewing corrective action plans developed by Operations Process Re-engineering and process owners and ensure its implementation by concerned parties.

u2022 Identify continuous improvement activities to produce bottom line risk and savings to support the overall Operational Excellence program.

u2022 Execute improvement activities to promote organizational changes and facilitate the culture of operational excellence in delivering the goals through cross-functional collaboration. u2022 Lead and facilitate lean/process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions.

u2022 Coordinate with sites and various division for OE and sites communications and to prepare for audits.

u2022 Work with key business stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment to support driving of Operational Excellence across ADD.

u2022 Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working.

u2022 Assist in the development and implementation of a u2018best-in-classu2019 continuous improvement strategy.

u2022 Participate in developing implementing and executing the operational excellence program. Identify key opportunities and gaps in the core business and operational processes and identify improvement plans.

u2022 Lead the development of value stream mapping to measure current performance and establish future state targets to eliminate waste, improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.

u2022 Own the timely delivery of initiatives and regularly reports to leadership team and the site with status of schedules and achievement of intended objectives. Technical Training u2022 Develop, plan, and coordinate all technical and on the field trainings and competencies development in line with Regulations Authority.

u2022 Ensure Competence assurance and Compliance with the relevant standards such as ISO, JIG ,EI 1530 and relevant ADD HSE requirements

u2022 Carry out mentoring and coaching and provide subject matter expertise to ensure effective problem resolution.

u2022 Defines training needs in consultation with the Operations VP, Managers and the Talent Development of Human Resources in line with Authorities regulations for all staff specific to their job profiles and competency matrix.

u2022 Ensures that employees are qualified and certified to perform required functions by assessing their knowledge and skills using theoretical assessment and practical assessment methods.

u2022 Prepares and maintains Competency and Driversu2019 Certificates for all staff.

Organises refresher training as needed. Reports the progress of Company trainees to the management.

u2022 Coordinate with HCD or HSSED for safety Site specific trainings like risk management, Confined space etc.

u2022 Provide technical knowledge and training in new or existing lean methods including that develop a highly effective visual management process, creating workflows designed to meet business objectives and ensure adherence to standard work.

u2022 Serve as an educational resource for management by keeping them informed on legislation, trends, and other issues in the Operations Excellence.

u2022 Oversee the delivery of Operations Group Internal technical trainings and ensure it is performed as per the approved Annual Training plan

u2022 Deliver external and Cross functional Trainings as per request

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in an engineering discipline.

u2022 At least 8 years of experience in continuous improvement role preferably in oil and gas retail industry Professional Certifications

u2022 PMP or/and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification are preferred
