We are seeking a highly experienced
Specialist Piping Engineer with extensive experience in upstream projects. The role will be office-based and involves leading piping engineering activities, ensuring design integrity, compliance with standards, and supporting project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee piping engineering design for upstream oil & gas projects
- Review and approve piping layouts, isometrics, and stress analysis
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes, and project specifications
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, civil, instrumentation)
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Support project execution, procurement, and construction phases
- Review vendor documents and manage technical queries (TQs)
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and model reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 18+ years of experience in oil & gas, with strong upstream exposure
- Proven experience working on ADNOC projects
- Strong knowledge of piping design, materials, and stress analysis
- Familiarity with international codes (ASME, API, etc.)
- Experience with engineering software/tools (e.g., CAESAR II, PDMS/E3D)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
