Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled PLM Specialist with strong expertise in PTC Windchill to support the implementation, customization, and optimization of PLM solutions within a complex engineering environment. This role will focus on system configuration, data management, and process alignment, ensuring PLM systems effectively support business and engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business requirements, and design, and implement solutions that address business processes.
- Excellent experience in Configuration Management Processes and Procedures as well as in identifying all Configuration Management requirements.
- Perform tasks including installing and configuring PTC software, customization, GUI development, testing, debugging, data migration, and deployment support.
- Provide multiple solution options and recommendations based on extensive experience and best practices.
- Work with other team members (Designers, Engineers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Business Representatives) to troubleshoot, maintain and enhance the Windchill PLM system.
- Establish training content and lead training activities on PLM&CM best practices and principles.
- Deliver training classes on Best Practices and Standards as applied to Configuration Management and PLM to our end users
- Utilize systems like Git for version control to manage source code, releases, and branching. • Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Jira, SCCM, Git), build automation
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience working with Windchill PLM systems • Preferred 7–10 years experience in enterprise PLM environments
- Strong understanding of Configuration Management principles and CM2 standards
- Experience with PLM ecosystem tools (ERP, ALM, CAD integrations)
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Git, SCCM or similar
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- CM2 Certification (CMPIC / IpX) preferred
- Experience in engineering, aerospace, or manufacturing environments is highly advantageous
