Specialist Rotating Engineer (Construction)

Penspen is hiring an experienced Specialist Rotating Engineer (Construction) with a strong background in the oil & gas industry to support oil and gas projects and operations. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, gearboxes, and auxiliary systems.
• Review equipment specifications, datasheets, vendor proposals, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and lead root-cause investigations.
• Develop maintenance and reliability improvement strategies.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, start-up, and shutdown activities.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, vendors, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, API standards, and company procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline,
• 17+ years of rotating equipment experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, or LNG facilities.
• 5+ years in PMC projects
• Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, vibration analysis, lubrication, seals, and bearings.
• Familiarity with relevant API and international engineering standards.
• Strong experience in greenfield & brownfield compression facility projects.
• GCC/Middle East oil & gas project experience is preferred.
