We are seeking a talented and experienced Specialist Digital Solutions - Ariba. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and enhancing the organization's Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes using the SAP Ariba platform. This role requires deep functional knowledge across Ariba modules, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to work closely with business teams, suppliers, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement operations and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day operations of SAP Ariba modules including SLP, Sourcing, Contracts, P2P, Commerce Automation, and Guided Buying.
- Conduct detailed requirement gathering with procurement and finance teams and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure Ariba solutions, workflows, approval rules, and integration touchpoints with SAP ECC/S4HANA.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and digital governance standards.
- Manage supplier registration, onboarding, qualification, and performance monitoring in Ariba SLP.
- Provide guidance to suppliers and internal users on Ariba system access, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Support supplier enablement activities in Commerce Automation (CA), including cXML/EDI connectivity.
- Support end-to-end sourcing events (RFI, RFP, Auctions) including template creation, event execution, and award processes.
- Maintain contract templates, clauses, and approvals in Ariba Contracts.
- Monitor contract compliance, renewals, and integration with ERP.
- Monitor data flow between SAP Ariba and SAP backend systems (S/4HANA) including master data, transactional documents, and supplier data.
- Troubleshoot integration failures (cXML, IDocs, API messages) and coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain scheduled tasks, interfaces, and system jobs.
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in the procurement processes and propose enhancements.
- Contribute to testing efforts (SIT, UAT), release validation, and change management activities.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and new module rollouts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field
- SAP Ariba Certification in relevant modules (SLP, Sourcing, Contracts, P2P, or CA).
- SAP Procurement or MM certification is an added advantage.
- Strong hands-on experience in one or more Ariba modules:
- SLP (Supplier Lifecycle & Performance) Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing, Commerce Automation.
- Understanding of procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and compliance processes.
- Experience with integration between SAP Ariba and S4HANA.
- Familiarity with cXML, IDocs, API messages, and master data synchronization.
- Ability to perform functional configuration and troubleshoot user/system issues.
- Working knowledge of SAP Activate, Agile/Scrum, and general SAP project lifecycles.
- Exposure to ITSM (such as ISO 20000) and PMO processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Vendor and supplier-facing experience with the ability to guide and support external partners.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
