About the Role

11 Media is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Media Manager to be seconded to our client's office. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes sportsparticularly footballand understands how to translate matchday energy, player stories, and fan culture into engaging digital content.

You will lead the league's social media presence, driving fan engagement, growth, and real-time storytelling across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a sports-driven social media strategy aligned with league objectives

Manage real-time content during matchdays, including live coverage, updates, and fan engagement

Plan and oversee content calendars around fixtures, tournaments, and key football moments

Collaborate with clubs, players, and stakeholders to create engaging, fan-first content

Monitor trends in global football and adapt them to local audiences

Analyze performance metrics and optimize content for reach, engagement, and growth

Manage community engagement, including fan interactions, comments, and messages

Ensure consistent tone of voice aligned with the league's brand

Requirements

46 years of experience in social media management, preferably in sports or entertainment

Strong understanding of football culture, trends, and fan behavior

Experience managing live/event-based social media coverage

Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (match schedules)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

Prior experience working with sports leagues, clubs, or major events

Familiarity with UAE/GCC sports landscape

Basic understanding of content production (photo/video)

Arabic language is a plus
