Job Description


SPRINT 90 is a three-month development journey designed for Civil and Architectural Engineering graduates to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world construction experience, preparing you to become full-time Site Engineer at Rowad Modern Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Resource Management

  • Assist the senior team in the planning of construction activities and operations.
  • Support the determination of labor and material requirements necessary to adhere to project deadlines.
  • Monitor the efficient functioning of equipment and ensure proper material storage protocols are maintained on-site.

Site Coordination & Supervision

  • Shadow and support the supervision of site workers and technicians, learning to illustrate and mark out the physical work on the actual building structure.
  • Coordinate the technical drawings and specifications with the Technical Office (TO), foremen, and surveying team to facilitate necessary approvals and proactively identify and resolve potential discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the Factory Engineer to anticipate and plan material supply logistics, helping to prevent on-site delays.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Draft and prepare preliminary progress reports and variation reports to contribute to an accurate project information system.
  • Participate in site walkthroughs to monitor and ensure compliance with established quality standards and client expectations.
  • Learn and assist in the process of coordinating and finalizing agreements with sub-contractors under the direction of the Technical Office (TO).

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture.
  • Fresh Graduates with maximum six (6) months of relevant professional experience.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Willingness and flexibility to work from various site locations
  • High motivation and a genuine passion for learning practical aspects of construction, design, and project management.
  • Strong collaboration skills; must be a team player comfortable working effectively with mentors, fellow engineers, and site teams.
  • Adaptable and comfortable thriving and learning within a dynamic construction environment.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Basic proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
