We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our IT team. This role is responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing SQL Server databases across multiple environments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and top performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server clustering, Always-On, replication technologies, and extensive experience in large-scale corporate IT environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across multiple environments
- Ensure database performance, security, and high availability (HA/DR) configurations
- Perform regular backups, restores, and recovery operations
- Troubleshoot database issues and optimize performance
- Monitor database systems to ensure stability and scalability
- Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and patching
- Implement database policies, standards, and best practices
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support business systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in core database administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server and database administration
- MCSA: Windows Server 2016 Certified or relevant
- MCSA: Office 365 Certified
- MCSE: Productivity Certified
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- MCSA: SQL Database Administration Certified
- Knowledge of Oracle Administration is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Cluster and DR environments
- Proven experience in high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups
- Good English oral and written communication skills candidate is a must Saudi Arabia
