Sr. Accountant

Job description:Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is a crital part of the Accounting Team and will support all aspects of the accounting and controls function.

Job Responsibilities

Review current systems, Assess risks and controls related to processes and support in designing appropriate internal controls to protect company assets. Handle Independently accounting, compliance and audit of smaller legal entities Coordinate and support Finance with Information and Analysis Keep abreast of regulatory changes and coordinate with Legal team and Ministry on compliance to Local laws Ledger scrutiny and timely reconciliation of accounts

Candidate Requirements

Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge A minimum of 4 years of experience working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a multinational environment. Sound knowledge of accounting and internal controls. Analytical mind set with good problem solving and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS office with hands on knowledge on ERP systems Strong team orientation Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage
