Sr. Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and effective financial controls to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting and month-end/year-end closing in accordance with IFRS and KSA regulations
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts
- Execute invoice processing, expense control, payroll accounting, VAT, Zakat, and other tax reporting
- Ensure compliance with Saudi tax laws and regulations, including ZATCA (VAT, Zakat, Corporate Tax) filings and audits
- Oversee AR, AP, inventory accounting, and fixed assets
- Maintain strong internal controls and support internal and external audits
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities
- Support compliance with Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements where applicable
- Assist in process improvements, automation, and financial system enhancements
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
- 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within international distribution, FMCG, or trading environments
- Strong knowledge of KSA accounting standards, VAT, Zakat, and statutory requirements
- Hands-on experience dealing with ZATCA, audits, and regulatory reporting
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and strong MS Excel skills
- High attention to detail, integrity, and strong organizational skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage
