Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airport Systems Implementation Specialist with deep expertise in airport operations systems and airfield systems, including Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) and Visual Docking Guidance Systems (VDGS), to join our team. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong understanding of CCTV solutions and video analytics within airport environments, alongside a comprehensive knowledge of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) concepts. This role demands a proven track record of successfully implementing and integrating these complex systems within dynamic airport operations. You will leverage your technical proficiency, project management acumen, and exceptional communication skills to ensure seamless system deployments and optimize airport efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of airport operational systems airfield systems and video-based analytics systems ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and other airport systems.
- Apply knowledge of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACDM) principles in system implementation and optimization.
- Contribute to large-scale project planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering and validation sessions with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scopes of work, presentations, technical specifications, test plans, and training materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful system implementation and ongoing support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or an Engineering (related to IT and systems) field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in implementing and supporting airport operational systems and Airfield systems.
- Demonstrated experience with ACDM principles and their application in the airport terminal and airfield operations optimization.
- Extensive IT experience in system implementation, integration, and troubleshooting within a complex IT environment.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, including planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and budget control.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, validation, and documentation, including the creation of scopes of work and presentations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in English language is essential.
- Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
