Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures across Azure and AWS
Define and enforce cloud security best practices, guardrails, and policies
Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and key management
Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform for secure and repeatable deployments
Build and automate security controls, compliance checks, and remediation workflows
Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
Monitor, detect, and respond to cloud security threats and incidents
Perform cloud security risk assessments, threat modeling, and design reviews
Partner with platform, DevOps, and application teams to embed security early
Support audits, compliance requirements, and regulatory assessments
Mentor junior engineers and provide cloud security thought leadership
Utilize AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, document automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards

Required Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of experience in information security, with strong focus on cloud security
Hands-on expertise in both Azure and AWS security services, including:
Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud
Azure IAM, Key Vault, Network Security Groups
AWS IAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty
Strong experience with Terraform for:
Infrastructure provisioning
Security automation
Policy enforcement and reusable modules
Solid understanding of:
Cloud networking (VPC/VNet, routing, firewalls)
Zero Trust security principles
Encryption, secrets management, and key lifecycle
Experience with logging, monitoring, and detection tools in cloud environments
Familiarity with secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to leverage AI to create, develop, and scale documentation to meet product and departmental requirements
Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output standards
