About the Role

Our client, a global leader in the payments technology industry, is seeking a Deals Team Lead / Deal Structuring & Financial Advisory Specialist to join their team. As a member of the Deals Team, you will work closely with Finance, Account Executives, Business Development, Legal, and Contract Management stakeholders to drive deal structuring, financial modeling, approval governance, and workflow management. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling expertise, deal management experience, and stakeholder management skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the GIG preparation and deal modeling process, prioritize deals at structuring stages, and ensure adherence to requirements during deal pipeline reviews. Maintain deal calendars and conduct regular progress reviews.
  • Drive early alignment and cross-functional collaboration across stakeholders to minimize revisions and provide a streamlined approval process for final decision-makers.
  • Ensure compliance with deal checklists, client and company requirements, contract terms, and deal structures while promoting operational efficiency and governance.
  • Build and review financial models for client incentive agreements, support approval processes, and provide guidance to account executives and business development teams on deal proposals and contract reviews.
  • Act as the central point of contact for deal-related data requests, stakeholder coordination, deal tracking, reporting, and management presentations, ensuring timely completion and sign-off of transactions.
  • Serve as a Center of Excellence for deal management best practices, process improvements, and education across the organization.

Qualifications

  • achelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Strategy, or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree (MBA, Master's, or equivalent).

Required Skills

  • Strong exposure to Investment Banking, Private Equity, Financial Advisory, Management Consulting, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with exceptional analytical, business analysis, communication, and stakeholder management skills. CFA qualification is preferred but not required.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
