Primary Purpose Of The Job
Provide legal support to QatarEnergy on all forms of company and commercial work, including corporate transactional and structuring, commercial transactions, brand protection and management; as well as legal support to QatarEnergy's corporate functions (Corporate/Commercial Activities) and support on all legal risks and legal issues relevant to Corporate/ Commercial Activities to assist QatarEnergy to achieve its aims in a lawful, effective, ethical and accountable manner.
Required Experience And Skills
- At least ten years legal experience (not necessarily post-qualification) in in private practice or in-house, a substantial amount of which is in relation to Corporate/ Commercial activities.
- Ability to assimilate complex legal matters and to provide practical advice to non-lawyers.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player with members of the Legal Department, as well as other stakeholders.
- Digital literacy. Advanced expertise and skills in word, incl. MS Office software applications (e.g. Word, and PowerPoint).
- Highly motivated, proactive, organized, and self-disciplined.
Educational Qualifications
- JD/LLB (or equivalent) degree at a recognized university.
