Overview:
The Sr. Cross-Functional Presales Engineer is responsible for driving presales engagements and solution orchestration for complex, multi-domain technology deals. The role bridges sales, clients, and technical teams, ensuring the development of integrated, scalable, and commercially viable solutions across enterprise platforms, cloud, AI, and system integration domains.
The position plays a key role in shaping winning proposals, leading solution design activities, and supporting strategic pursuits, particularly within large enterprise and public sector environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead presales engagement and solution orchestration for large and complex software deals
- Support end-to-end solution architecture and design for ADC initiatives and client engagements in collaboration with domain architects
- Drive solutioning for RFPs/RFIs, proposals, and customer presentations
- Act as the primary interface between sales, clients, and internal Solution Architects across domains
- Collaborate with ERP, cloud, AI, and integration architects to build cohesive, end-to-end solutions
- Drive solution positioning, value articulation, and storytelling tailored to client needs
- Create high-quality proposals and client-ready responses with strong attention to detail
- Lead public sector and enterprise RFP/RFI responses, including compliance and documentation
- Shape managed services, system integration, and COTS solution proposals, including scope definition, SLAs, transition approach, and operating models
- Consolidate inputs from multiple SMEs into integrated solution proposals and executive presentations
- Provide commercial inputs, including pricing assumptions, cost drivers, and deal structuring support
- Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, and solution walkthroughs
- Ensure alignment between technical solution, delivery feasibility, and commercial viability
- Support bid defense meetings and executive-level discussions
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or any other related field.
Experience:
- 4–8 years of experience in in presales, solution consulting, or bid management roles
- Strong experience working on large, complex deals, especially in public sector or regulated environments.
- Experience supporting multi-tower managed services or digital transformation programs is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Good understanding of enterprise technologies, COTS solutions, and industry trends
- Exposure to system integration and managed services models
- Understanding of AI/ML and automation use cases in enterprise environments
- Strong commercial awareness, including pricing concepts, cost structures, and deal economics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Preferred to have exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA and Oracle ERP Cloud, supporting multi-tower managed services or digital transformation programs, or familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration frameworks
- Expertise in English and Arabic language is highly preferred.
