Sr. Electrical Site Engineer

Role Description The Senior Electrical Site Engineer will oversee all electrical works on construction projects in New Cairo, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising electrical installations, coordinating with contractors and other engineering disciplines, and resolving technical issues that arise on site. The engineer will review drawings and shop documents, monitor material quality, and perform or supervise electrical testing and commissioning of systems. Daily tasks also include preparing progress reports, supporting maintenance planning, and ensuring that all electrical activities meet regulatory requirements and company standards. The role requires hands-on presence on site and close collaboration with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Electrical Engineering knowledge and a solid understanding of Electricity principles.
• Candidates should possess experience in Site Supervision of electrical works, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Testing, commissioning, and quality assurance of installed systems.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Electrical Maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior or lead electrical role on construction sites, preferably in commercial or mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide junior engineers and technicians.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and using relevant engineering software.
• Ability to work full time on site in New Cairo and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
