We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimation Engineer with 7+ years of experience in construction estimation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian construction market, proven experience in cost estimation and tender preparation, and a Civil Engineering background. Candidates currently based in KSA and available to join immediately will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quantity take-offs for construction projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
- Develop detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing strategies for tender submissions.
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, and project teams to obtain necessary cost inputs.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
- Conduct market price analysis for materials, labor, and equipment in the KSA market.
- Support the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
- Participate in tender clarification meetings and negotiations when required.
- Maintain cost databases and historical records for future reference.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction estimation and tendering.
- Strong knowledge of the KSA construction market, pricing, and suppliers.
- Proven experience in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred:
- Candidates are currently based in Saudi Arabia.
- Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period.
