Job Purpose

To manage and maintain GlobalCorp's computer systems, including administration of operating systems, hardware installations and configurations, infrastructure applications, network hardware and software, and monitoring IT infrastructure availability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Create and manage user accounts, access permissions, and security settings.
  • Set up workstations for new employees, including hardware and software.
  • Support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT-related assets (hardware and software).
  • Resolve employee help desk requests within defined timeframes.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure to ensure availability and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Work Experience

  • 35 years of relevant experience in a similar IT role.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with networks, switches, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience in network and systems troubleshooting.
