About the Role

Al Turath Engineering Consultant LLC is seeking a Senior Landscape Design Architect to manage landscape design for building projects and other developments, from concept to construction, coordinating all stages and aspects of each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple small to medium-sized landscape design projects, including building projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, and institutional), from concept to construction.
• Design landscape for building podiums, courtyards, rooftops, entrances, and external areas, integrated with the architectural design.
• Organise day-to-day design, production, and documentation work, and coordinate the contract administration of the projects.
• Ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with the technical and contractual terms of the project contract.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, architects, and MEP, structural, and civil consultants; prepare reports and presentations and attend meetings as necessary.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and required approvals are obtained during design development and the production of drawings and documentation.
• Assist as required with the post-tender contract administration stage, coordinating with contractors and the client's representatives.
• Guide and mentor junior landscape architects and designers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the UAE, preferably with a consultancy.
• Proven experience on building projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority approval processes and local codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Revit or Lumion.
• Knowledge of local plant species, hardscape and softscape detailing, and irrigation design.
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
