Sr. Manager IT & Data

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager IT & Data to lead the organization's technology infrastructure, data strategy, and analytics initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing IT operations, ensuring system reliability, and driving data-driven decision-making across the business.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in retail technology environments, cloud platforms, data platforms, and enterprise systems while leading cross-functional teams and vendors.

IT Strategy & Leadership

1. Define and execute the organization's IT and data strategy aligned with business goals.
2. Lead and mentor the IT and data teams across infrastructure, applications, and analytics.
3. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments.
4. Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of all IT systems.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

1. Oversee cloud and on-prem infrastructure, including servers, networking, and enterprise platforms.
2. Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place.
3. Manage third-party providers, hosting environments, and managed service partners.
4. Monitor system performance and drive improvements in uptime and reliability.

Retail Technology & Operations

1. Manage POS systems, store technology, and retail platforms across multiple locations.
2. Ensure seamless integration between ERP, POS, CRM, and other business systems.
3. Support store operations through reliable technology and process automation.

Data & Analytics

1. Lead the design and implementation of data architecture and analytics platforms.
2. Enable business teams with reporting, dashboards, and insights.
3. Manage data pipelines, data governance, and data quality initiatives.
4. Drive advanced analytics initiatives including customer insights, sales analytics, and operational analytics.

Security & Compliance

1. Ensure IT security standards, policies, and compliance requirements are met.
2. Implement best practices for data protection, cybersecurity, and risk management.
3. Conduct regular audits and system reviews.

Project & Stakeholder Management

1. Lead technology transformation projects across the organization.
2. Work closely with business leaders, finance, operations, and marketing teams.
3. Deliver IT projects on time and within budget.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in IT leadership roles
• Proven experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud environments
• Strong experience with data platforms, analytics, and reporting systems
• Experience managing POS and retail technology ecosystems
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Data Engineering Certifications

Nature of Experience

• Minimum of 6 years experience working in IT and Analytics field
• Experience with Azure / cloud platforms
• Knowledge of data engineering, BI tools, and data warehousing
• Experience in retail or multi-store environments
• Familiarity with ERP integrations and enterprise systems
• Strong project management capabilities
