Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer with extensive experience in Local Roads and Infrastructure projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have prior PWA (Ashghal) approval at P1A grade level and hold a valid MME/UPDA certification.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or relevant discipline)
- Minimum 20+ years of total experience
- At least 10 years of similar experience in Local Roads and Infrastructure projects
- Previous approval from PWA (Ashghal) for the same grade level (P1A) mandatory
- Valid MME/UPDA certification
- Strong experience working on projects in Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage local roads and infrastructure works in compliance with PWA standards
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and quality requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
- Monitor site progress, quality control, and safety compliance
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Support project delivery within schedule and budget
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PWA (Ashghal) specifications and QCS standards
- Expertise in road works, pavement construction, and utilities coordination
- Excellent leadership and site supervision capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple site activities efficiently
