Job Description

Project Overview

The project involves designing, developing, and managing a pilot professional development program for teachers and school administrators across selected schools in the UAE. The engagement will focus on aligning key stakeholders, overseeing pilot implementation, monitoring outcomes, and generating strategic recommendations for future scale-up.

The successful candidate will lead project delivery, manage client relationships, oversee consulting workstreams, and ensure the successful execution of all phases of the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale education transformation and professional development program.
  • Serve as the overall project owner and primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
  • Develop and oversee project plans, governance structures, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Ensure project objectives, milestones, and quality standards are achieved across all phases of the engagement.

PMO & Governance

  • Establish and manage PMO structures, reporting frameworks, steering committees, and governance mechanisms.
  • Track project progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Produce executive-level status reports and presentations for partners and client leadership.
  • Ensure alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups throughout the program lifecycle.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior government and education-sector stakeholders.
  • Lead workshops, steering committees, and executive-level discussions.
  • Manage communications with client counterparts and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and facilitate key decision-making processes.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage consulting teams across multiple workstreams.
  • Oversee work quality and provide guidance on analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and client engagement.
  • Coordinate resources and ensure timely delivery against project objectives and milestones.

Strategy & Transformation

  • Support the design and implementation of pilot program strategies.
  • Lead structured problem-solving sessions and hypothesis-driven analyses.
  • Develop strategic insights, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Drive post-pilot evaluation activities and transformation recommendations.

Experience

  • 8–10 years of experience within a leading strategy consulting firm.
  • Current or previous experience at Manager or Senior Manager level.
  • Proven track record of managing complex consulting engagements from initiation through completion.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams of consultants and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience serving as the primary engagement lead with clients and senior partners.
  • Strong project delivery, PMO, and governance management experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Education sector consulting experience.
  • Government transformation and public sector consulting experience.
  • Human capital, capability building, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Education reform programs and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Organizational transformation and change management projects.
  • Large-scale program management and PMO leadership.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
