Sr. Project Engineer Transformer

Alfanar Projects is looking for a highly experienced Sr. Project Engineer – Transformer to lead transformer projects across design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, testing, commissioning, and site execution. The role involves end-to-end project management, customer coordination, technical support, resource planning, cost control, and ensuring successful project delivery within schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams throughout the transformer project lifecycle.

Manage project execution, schedules, budgets, risks, and customer requirements.

Oversee transformer erection, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site activities. Coordinate with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure project success.

Drive continuous improvement, resource optimization, and technical support initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Diploma holders with extensive relevant experience may also be considered).
• 8-10 years of experience in power transformer services, design, erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial or project leadership experience in the transformer industry.
• Strong knowledge of transformer troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in transformer project management within a manufacturing environment.
• PMP certification and proficiency in MS Project/MS Office are preferred.
